The idea that not just breast cancer, but many forms of cancer is tied to weight is not new. Weight in turn is tied to blood sugar and insulin level, and the cancer risk associated with these two is well documented. Yet we seem so surprised every time we hear it. – Was it never mentioned? Are we tone deaf? Do we care? Will knowing this change our behavior? That is, will we behave differently when we next eat? Do we know what or how to change? Or are we just brave beyond out resources???
